Previous knowledge of sound recording or to have been on the ars Sound Engineering I and II Courses are necessary to do this course.

It goes over digital sound recording in a complete and understandable way. Touching on subjects like sampling, quantizing, coding, error correction, as well as the most common problems and solutions related to digital recording such as; dither and jitter etc… Not only will analyse all the digital formats and their evolution but also complement the entire course with practical exercises on Wavelab and the AKAI sampler.
